| We are Tier III but have not decided to get a Battlekeep for us just yet. We need to be well prepared for when Seshatnun decides we shall have one. Our goal is to never be defeated or repelled. This planning is on-going and in detail.
Sorry for the confusion.

| That's easier said than done once you reach level 60-ish. So far I've only been able to get maybe a 1/4 of the way done before logging off. | |

Me, as well as many other 80s, will help you grind out levels if you are above 60 (need to be to get app). Don't be shy, send me a tell, or most any 80 I think will, if we are busy we will say. We need lots of 80s, so it helps the guild I think to get you up there asap, so don't consider it an imposition. | |

{edit: I am back and know a lot more of what I am talking about.)
Sad no one has replied to this. Not even a thank you for the post.
hmm... crazy.
Myth: Leveling in Conan takes a long time. It is the fastest MMO out there to level in.
Myth: Leveling slows down massively at 60. Total lie. The game has a gradual rate of slowdown through the entire game. There are three zones to quest in at level 60, not even mentioning the instances to do.
They added a new zone to quest in for the upper 70's. People no longer have to hold all their quests from that Sygian zone and turn them all in.
Basicly the key to leveling fast is finish the areas for your level. That sums it all up. When a quest goes grey do not worry about it unless the turn in is a upgrade.
There are three zones that are for level 20s. I recommend starting in Wild Lands. Do a few quests near town, hit either CV or KP. (See below for how to get there.) Do the low level and easy quests for all three zones. Do not hit a zone unless you are the level for it. Don't go to FotD until you are 40. Make sure you do multiple runs in SotBS before moving onto FotD. Don't hit TR until you are 60. You can get to 60 fine in EM and some YP. That is it. Quest and level rapidly.
My PoM got to 75 in 7 days played. (First character that high of a level.) I have a friend who got to 78 in 4 days played with his first character. You can hit Aztels Approach at 70 and be apped up to 79. You can app anyone with in 20 levels of you. Use this.
Key nice spots:
That basement in WL, first place to go out of Tortage. That basement in KP, good to go 22, 24ish. Border something or other... zone you can solo out of WL quests. Low 30s. Level 35 mobs good to do at level 32 solo. Outflow Tunnels in OT. High 30s Temple of the Ancients in KP. Another solo able but challenging solo. Will give you at least a level and a half. Sanctum of the Burning Souls is a must for gear, can start at 35 but you need a very decent tank and healer about 40. Noble District at 42. Drop everything and get your epic from the Arena at level 54 in the inn out of ND. Arena will give you a ten-twenty min level at 44. Do the yellow YP quests as a offshoot while your doing EM. Go back to EM. In YP the yeti and frost giant quests are repeatable and combined net you 70K exp each run. Look out for all wanted posters. Wanted Posters are always repeatable. Prison Colony is far easier than people let on. It is not called Dead Mans Camp but something like that in what ever that level 70 zone is called. Good grind. Be nice and group/raid with people who are there.
I am forgetting a few things and I don't care.
Quick things from a noob to other noobs:
Wait at least until 15 before giving up on a class.
Stam, mana and health food and POTIONS are on separate cooldowns. This is so cool! Big noob mistake I made. I did not know this for a embarrassingly long time. Also this is not World of Warcraft. You can pop a potion at any time. Even in mid combo. (As in you use eviserating [sp?] strike rank III start the right hand swing, pop a potion effective immediately, finish out the combo.)
My personal opinion, lower levels (including my 54 guardian) natural regeneration is the best stat there is. People say +hp or +mana on guides on the main games forums but I disagree. My tank can take so much damage with out the hp bar moving. She also hates the concept of resting and quite avoids it. Same with my PoM and I have not even put mana regen points in feats. (I bet I will be playing a fine balance with lots of math when I hit raid.)
So far what I have noticed for lower levels. Questing is better than grinding. (This is just my interpretation so far.) That still seems to be the case at 54. Unless the mobs are a level or more higher than you and you are swathing through them in big groups. This is definitely true for Tortage and pre 30.
Potions. Right when you get in the city of Tortage, stock up. You can afford 15 of them at least this moment of the game. Really use stam potions while running around. Don't know if it is a bug but it will not regen while you are in sprint. Sometimes it does for me so I don't know the "as designed". When you are 40 and you hit EM (don't remember the name of the zone, just the E something or other mountains in Conan's homeland) that zone hands you stam potions like crazy. Use them.
Sloppy quick about Tortage: There are extensive guides in existence. I should find them then link them.
Kill everything and get the prostitute to Tortage in 20-45 min. Level 5. To the left of the smith on the way to the pic camp is three level 6 panthers. Kill them now or kill them after you get in the city and stocked up on potions. (When you enter the city looking "down" into the courtyard to your slight right and in front of you is the alchemist.)
Don't need to grind at level 5 mobs. Get the stone for the smith and get in the city. Use your map. (Default "M" key.) Zoom in on the map (mouse wheel, sure there is a key on the map for this) Find the yellow exclamation points. That is available quest givers. {need to back off on the detail here.} Do the thread quest. (Guy up on the right, same level as town entry.) Guy on the left accross from him, the smith do his quest. The "Madam" on the lower level right, asks you to kill some level 5 and 6 people behind her. Take them all on in a group if your up to it or they will patroll so you can single pull them. Head to the night missions. (Pop out of night at 7-9 and do the two quests to kill the pirates in town.)
Note: Some nice extra grind exp is the pirates who are yellow in the "Ship Bar" Try killing them as low level as possible. First person to take one out (solo, non tweaked toon) five levels below I will give 25sp. Fraps it. (Showing gear.)
Head back into night.
My personal take at the moment that is subject to change. There is a set amount of quest exp in Tortage. This amount I think will get you to twenty with very little extra killing. I don't quite worry about if a quest is Grey in Tortage. I think getting to level 10 in the night is good, then popping out, run all over and pick up every quest you can then head to White Sands. Do everything you can other than finishing the pic kill and feathers. Start night missions at the beginning of a level. If you are in mid level the mobs will stay behind, less exp for you.
I may be wrong but I did this a few hours ago. After turn ins of white sands, you are level 14 with less than four hours played. Personally, I want to get this down to under 3 if I can. I bet it is super possible with ToS, PoM and Demo (bet more classes too)
Collect all available quests. Last toon I chose to go into the underhalls at this point instead of back to White Sands. I popped over at the beginning of 16 to blow up the volcano (or maybe that was 14...) Tried at 16 to talk to Genzo but failed. Dinged to 17 and it was cake. (Very possible at 16 being patient with pats. I was not that hour. My 54 guardian can easily take 4 55s or 3 56 why can't my 16? Heck you could even toss a boss in the mix.)
Then wipe the zone with the rest of your quests of your choice. Yea stuff over in the pic camp is grey. (If you head strait out, head slightly to the left of the hut your about to run into, hit the cliff, head left, jump on the ledge then slide down near the flesheating plant for about 250 fall damage.)
I have not skipped night missions with my toon yet. The gear is good. Some of it gets replaced really quick. Sasua had a hat on from that quest until level 53. I even made one a lot better but I wanted to +hate and taunt on the old one. She was/is very unlucky with hat drops. Finally put a light armor hat on her. Poor girl.
Don't worry about completing the quests of Tortage outside of just loving the content. The lovers quest gives horrid exp but has a chance to give you a caster item maybe. (If you are not a caster it is actually better to skip.) Talking about the quest with the girl in purple who owns her own shop. Your introduced to her after breaking the skull (the guy in the prison cell you get the key for).
Don't grind Tortage for exp or cash or gear. There are three starter areas you have immediate access to in the main game. They have more quests than... well lots. Yea bat boss may drop a tasty blue for you, you will have a quest item upgrade in hours. Cash? Mobs instantly start dropping more cash. Fellow speedster, get out of Tortage!
My second PoM, 7th toon, is 27 with 15 hours played. (I so could cut that down a lot.) Wasted an hour in starter town for only 5/7th a level. What ever class you are, starting in wild lands is good, hit the celler the guy wants you to. If a quest is red note it, delete it come back to it. Do the quests immediately around town. Get out go to the Set town. Hit the zone that is not the swamp. (Khopsef Province) You want to again hit the underground in this place first. 3 quests for it, get them all. Then do all the quests that are in the NE part of the zone.
Your level 27.
What I have found so far: (Numbers are coordinates on your map.)
Conarch Village: Wagoner Manan 362, 572 Takes you to Old Tarantia and Lacheish Plains
Old Tarantia: To Conarch Village 569, 485 To Wild Lands and Pritain 1098, 403 To Khemi 686, 719
Khemi: To Old Tarantia 1008, 1199 To Khopshef Province and Lotus Swamp 790, 1157
Want to be a crafter? Can get gathering skills at level 20, crafting at 40. If you do this early do it in Pritain not Lotus Swamp. If you ship from Old Tarantia to Pritain, then zone out to the east to Wild Lands, you will be up north in a danger zone. Make sure your bind point is a big city or that town south in the wild lands (or to a tasty questing area) and "Skelo-port" back to your bind point.
I know early levels is not what this thread is about, but um hey it is all I know at the moment.
I also know the 30-40 grind seems to stick in peoples graw. Had someone today tell me, well sucks there are EQ hell levels in this game. I was thinking, 'Are you insane!? I got my main in this game to 54 faster than just level 50 in EQ. (Probibly faster than just level 30.) 2 days played for 54 first character past past 28 in this game. No online research. (Don't know if that is fast or not but I know it is really fast to some people.) I want to talk about the 30-50 stuff but I will come back later for that.
I stayed up in Conans home land, Conarch Village and areas until level 34. I had a night where I met a lot of cool people from Kings Destroyers ran that level 28ish instance over that way five times and got some killer gear and exp... maybe I am thinking 38-44 but I will find out. Anyhow I was like 34 when I set out and explored, found out it is easy to get to the big cities and any of the three main cities. Hit wild lands (that is why I am thinking I was 34, for the first time. Wild Lands sucks at this point because all the prior zones are so much smaller and a lot less running to quests and completion. At first I was arg about the zone. I have this perspective. When I dinged to 31 I did not even know I hit 30 yet. I was in tank this instance mode. Did not even look at my new abilities. Silly me they could have really helped in that instance. Leveling is FAST in this game. EQ I don't remember what three months played to get to 50? WoW I had a decent speedster 3 weeks to get to burning crusade as a shadow dwarf priest? I am 2 days 9 hours played almost 55. So just grab those Wild Land quests, and do them. Having trubble ask a guildie. I will always come help people even if I am not guilded. (Only trouble I see around here is my spelling.) Wild Lands states it is 20-37 but I was there at least through 39 with quick levels and very little kill grinding.

{edit: still super sloppy had lots of things to say I don't remember... to be continued} P.S. Thotholyte rocks, I have not even hit character limit in this post.
